Cooling circuit
The machine supplies the circuit through manifolds and jet coolers. Pin count, cooling channels and connections are selected together around the mold.
- Jet cooling machine — supplies and controls cooling water and air purge, channel by channel.
- Manifold — distributes the circuit to each tube connection at the mold.
- Jet cooler — carries water into the bore of the core pin and returns it.
- Core pin — jet-cooled pins take heat out of the casting where it is thickest.
